Battery Question

I know the Voltage needs to Be 3.7 but can the mAh be Higher than 380.. My Understanding of mAh is that the higher the number the longer the charge will last ? Please advise as I dont want to blow up my PCB board thx guys

I have a question too. I have the basic kit. Am I just to charge the battery until the red light on the charger goes out? It seems like that takes around 50 minutes from what I can tell.

That is correct and you get about 7 min with the charge

Thanks John. What about the best place to buy more batteries and a charger to perhaps charge more than one at a time? I am ordering batteries, propellers and two chargers from the Flybrix store now but am willing to entertain other options.

Hey tim thats very similar to my question i think most of the parts are universal.. from what i understand they get most of their parts from a husban x4.. i just dont know if the pcb can take a bttery with a higher mAh the mAh on the flybrix battery is 380 at 3.7 volts…

You can definitely use higher mAh batteries. The octocopter can probably fly with 600mAH or even 1200mAh cells. You just need to make sure they are 1S batteries (3.7V)

Look up batteries for the Walkers QR-100S or Syma X5

We use SJ3560 dual lock velcro from 3M to hold the battery
