Firmware upgrade failure
I am trying to take flight for the first time with my son, but after connecting successfully to the device via Bluetooth, the iPhone app always returns “Upgrade needed; please visit flybrix.com on your computer to updated your firmware”. Using the Teensy Loader as per instruction (including reboot), I've tried firmware 1.3.0, 1.4.0 and the Teensy Loader blinkfastTeensy32 all with the same result.
Please help

Ignore the message telling you to update the firmware. I'd use 1.4.0 since it has a better default configuration which will work for quad and octo designs. You can use 1.3.0 firmware and the 1.3.1 version of the app to set it up as a hex.
Right now the iPhone app is out of sync with the latest firmware version until the app store updates to version 1.4.0 which has been waiting for review by Apple since before Christmas. Hopefully after the holidays, Apple will get back to 1-2 day review turn-around since we've got a few new updates to release in the coming weeks.
