Amir made a video to show the binding procedure. Let me know if you're having a different experience from this:
After you bind, you can arm/disarm by pushing the right joystick. You need to have the throttle all the way down to arm the drone, and you may need to trim down the throttle (using the buttons next to the joystick) to arm.
I'm guessing you have an early Alpha or Beta unit, and might need to update the software on board. You can update the firmware using our chrome app:
This procedure doesn't have a good UI yet, we will improve the firmware update.
First you need to plug in the board via USB with the battery plugged in too. If you click on the Configuration tab and scroll down to Official 1.1.0 and click update firmware it will start the download from the internet. Then you need to the push the button on the flybrix board for the board to enter firmware download mode.
To see what's happening as the configuration tool down loads the firmware you can inspect views on “main.html” from chrome://extensions/ (check the “developer mode” box) and see what it prints to console.
