Arming the alpha / Throttle Trim
The Alpha kit is armed and disarmed by pushing the right stick in. The throttle (left stick) must be all the way down to arm. You may need to push the “throttle trim down” button to lower the lowest throttle setting so that the throttle is below the threshold required to arm the device.

If you have your airframe assembled and are ready to fly it, there are a few steps that are required to actually get your flyer to fly. First, binding your rc controller to the flight board. Holding the antenna away from you, on the rc controller, the right and left levers have different capabilities (the throttle is controlled by your left hand) and the right lever is used to arm and disarm the controller from the device (aka pairing). There are a number of buttons around both the levers on both sides. In the comment above, the “throttle trim down” button is located on the left side of the controller and is on the ring around the left lever. It makes a sound that goes higher in pitch as its pushed multiple times as it raises and the pitch lowers each time the button is pushed as its setting lowers.
